Travel Insurances? Should I Have Any?

It is surely recommendable for any trip planned on a long-term but first and foremost when there are small children or elder persons accompanying you, since you never know…

Deposit? Do I Have to Pay Any?

Yes, both landlord and lessee benefit from such a deposit, because it guarantees surety. The landlord is sure about the binding reservation, relying on the guest to show up or to be informed on short notice, if a cancellation is due. The guest on the other hand is sure, the object is truly reserved only for him and there’s no double occupancy. The deposit is your booking guarantee.

Contacting the landlord Before the Date of Arrival?

Yes, it is possible, since shortly after your reservation, you will receive address and telephone number of the landlord. In most cases you can talk in English or German language. In any case, it is advisable to contact the Landlord on the day of arrival shortly before reaching your holiday home.

Reduction for Children? Is There Any?

No, since we’re arbitrating only complete holiday houses or apartments. It makes no difference to the landlord whether the accommodation is occupied by children or grown ups.

Start Date? Are Arrivals Possible Only on Saturdays and Sundays?

No, our landlords have agreed to accept reservations of individual duration and differing starting dates, disposability provided of course. Thus in main season, most landlords premise occupancy of at least one week.

Rebate? Any Reduction, If Not All Beds Are Occupied?

No, as stated above, just complete objects are for rent, no matter of the amount of beds used. It is always an all-in-price.

Day-Wise Reservation? Possible Under Additional Costs?

Yes, reservations for less than 3 days are allowed in most cases. And yes, additional costs are charged in form of a 30% surcharge, since all side costs (bed clothing, final cleaning) are included. Reservations for more than a week make most favourable terms.

Hand-Over of Keys? How Does it Work?

You’ll be handed out the address and phone number of the landlord together with the receipt for your deposit. Any individual hand-over can be arranged directly with the landlord. Generally he will hand-over the keys personally.

Road Condition? What’s to Be Expected?

In one word: perfect. Slovenia has an excellent infrastructure and a well-kept road network. The general road conditions bear comparison with any European country.

Language? How to Communicate?

You won’t face problems in all tourist regions to get some gas for your car, to buy souvenirs or to place your order in a restaurant. Communication in English is mostly possible. Otherwise… call us, we are pleased to help you.

Percolator? Given in Each House or Apartment?

We’re afraid, no. Yet we are still discussing this with then landlords. Please take a look at the object’s description of the kitchen inventory.

Deposit? Any Securities Charged?

Generally no, there are only few exceptions, where a landlord insists on a security deposit. In such rare cases, we will inform you specifically.

Written Reservation Confirmation? Will It Be Sent by Mail?

No, we have experienced that a separate written document isn’t necessary. Your online reservation is binding even without a signed printout. Neither will the landlord ask for a written confirmation. If you still want such documentation, make a hardcopy of our e-mail confirmation or call us to get a fax confirmation.

Reservation Cancellation? What’s To Do in Case of Illness?

In such a case, travel insurance is of course helpful. You should inform us anyway as soon as possible, so we can take care to find substitution. Generally we are lucky to find alternatives. Thus cancellation costs as stated in the General Terms of Agreement can be minimized.

Last-Minute-Offers? Are Thers Any?

Yes, of course. If you want to travel to Slovenia right today or tomorrow and have no accommodation yet, you might choose one or two available objects (see the occupancy calendar). We will contact the landlord and ask for a last-minute-offer. In such cases rebates of up to 20% are possible, why not ask for it?

Leisure Activities? Who Can Help With Organisation?

We would like to help you managing your leisure activities too, just call us or write an email. You want to rent bicycles? You are keen on some rock climbing? Or you’d rather like to start for a sailing trip? We have got contacts to quite a lot of suppliers – it’s up to you to make your wish.
