Although it is statutory, yet not every tour operator is offering security voucher. We have installed this important protection for our clients in cooperation with Raiffeisen Insurance. You will receive your security voucher as an attachment together with your booking confirmation via e-mail (as pdf-document).

The security voucher protects travelers in case of an inability to pay, i.e. insolvency of the tour operator. The insurance, here the R+V Insurance, compensates for this reason any travel costs in case the journey does not take place at all or costs for the return from the holiday destination evolving from this reason. For more detailed information, please refer to § 651k of German Civil Code.

Our security voucher states: name and address of the insurance carrier, the answering credit institution, an exact definition of the insured event, the statement of the insured event to be considered (insolvency) and the description of loss or damage caused by insolvency, for which compensation may be claimed.

In your own interest, you should always insist upon the deliverance of a security voucher by your tour operator with any booking via the internet!
